I know it has been suggested to put a cap on emerald gens, but I couldn’t find a topic about it. The only thing close to it was this:
Like what @BlazeDrake said, emeralds shouldn’t spawn until someone reaches mid, and emerald gens should have a cap of maybe 3 emeralds. This would prevent someone from rushing mid, getting full dia, and winning the game with no skill involved.
I’ve rushed ems late game and got a bunch and stacked up and won. I won not because of the ems I won because of my PVP skills. It was one V2 and the two other people were full diamond with diamond swords. So in my opinion, getting a lot of emeralds in one go and stacking up doesn’t really affect the game too much.
okay. you might have skill but what about that one noob that rushes mid right at the start, get dia armor and dia sword, and then starts murdering you because all you have is a stone sword and no armor and you aren’t able to combo him?
In my opinion the emerald gens are completely fine, the problem is that more teams need to fight for the emeralds instead of letting one team just take all of them and then after complain about it like you didn’t expect it, if someone does end up getting full diamond armor it’s because they took the time to get all the emeralds while also maybe fighting some other players for them instead of side rushing or camping base the whole game.
Anyways that’s just my opinion, I’m a level 75 in treasure wars and I don’t just waste my time waiting for emeralds to spawn and go back and forth to my enderchest multiple times collecting them but if all of them or most of them are there I’ll take them. Even if someone does get full diamond armor there are counters to them such as pushing them off the edge or knocking them off with snowballs or arrows or maybe even killing them with a diamond sword with skill if you can get one.
Anyways the difference is that the adjective you used is “noob” meaning new player or bad player. When using this you’ve implied that everyone or most who decide to get diamond are “noobs”, correct?
Well by this logic would you even be considered a “skilled player” if you can’t combo someone who is still learning game mechanics?
This would make solo tournaments much more exiting as well so it no longer becomes just a race to diamond and you will be focused on the real objectives of the game!
actually i dont think we need thisfeature
cuz all u need to do is sneak up on their tresure break it(if they rush they dont protect he tresure thta mich) then lure them nto a bridge side jump and knock em off
I honestly think that this shouldn’t be a feature cuz rushing mid is like a high risk high reward system. You either get ems, or die losing your weapons and blocks trying to get those. I think capping it would reduce people rushing mid since it won’t really be worth risking the stuff you already have.
