Okay we all know spamming is one of the most annoying things in bedwars/skywars no doubt nothing can get more annoying…
So add a cool down to spammable items
Bedwars:
Fireball: 5-7 second cool down
Wind charge: 5 second cool down
KB dorys: 10 second cool down (or more)
Potions: 3-5 second cool down
And add slider in CS games to either reduce/add time to th cool down or remove cool down (I don’t see why anyone would do that though)
If some of these already have slight cool downs. I didn’t notice because people still spam them waaay to much.
Skywars:
Snowballs: 1-2 second cool down. Now this isn’t much of a problem in public servers as custom so add a slider in the CS settings to add or remove cool downs and adjust amount of time.
Final thoughts: Skywars it’s too bad to be honest but BedWars definitely needs help reducing spamming.
I agree that items are very strong in these games, and something should be done to add some sort of balance. Adding a cooldown to bow and wind charges (and dorys pls) would certainly help make the game better. Alternatively, they could reduce the amount of each of the op items people can buy (arrows, dorys, wind charges) in some way (reducing emerald gen speed/removing the em gen speedup, reduce the amount of these items each shop can carry (eg. 2 dorys per shop), or up the cost of these items (make dia armor cost more emeralds pls))
I agree that there’s a problem with overuse of these items, and this post certainly proposes a solution.

Yeah that’s fair
These have a vanilla cooldown so atm there good
5 seconds would do, 10 would make dories not fun anymore.
Potions are fine as is, they aren’t op
These are fine right now, getting alot of snowballs is hard.

Okay so 5 for dorys and 7 for fireballs.
And you’re right potions are really used that much so whatever they have is probably fine
But add a slider to custom servers to add or remove cool down times
And on skywars it really isn’t a problem so it’s fine how it is but also add a slider for CS
