Therefore Fowben should have a yellow name… right?
The reason I’ve made this post is because VIP is very random, out of place, and no one really knows why it exists.
Fowben could have the tag [MD] for ‘model designer’

Maybe not removed, but it really doesn’t make sense for fowben to have a rank that nobody else have and doesn’t really explain his role, so I’d just give him the [MD] tag and make it so nobody has vip atm lol

This either means
A. The support page is inaccurate
B. VIP is being removed as the staff system updates
The staff rank changes aren’t quite active yet and you all will be seeing changes in the coming week. It’s best to be patient and to not assume things for now

Change VIP’s color to Rainbow since Fowben is too gamer for yellow
There is now a generic Hive Team rank that members of the Hive Team who do not need a specific rank will use.
The VIP rank is not being removed, and is now reserved for influencers that aren’t YouTubers or streamers, much like the VIP rank on Java.
We have updated our support site in preparation for the upcoming rank changes, and as @ItsWoozieE mentioned, these changes will be reflected in-game very soon. We certainly have no reason to ‘lie’ about such a thing, and the only reason that you haven’t seen the rank changes in-game yet is because these things require various backend updates which take a while to roll-out to all regions, this is the same reason the moderators still appear as admins in-game.
