There could be chocolate bread that you put in the toaster, it doesn’t have to be a chocolate spread. It would probably get confused with burnt toast though.

we have already discussed how putting spread on before is a crime, and all the other ones such as crumpets, strudel (wtf is tgat) are not as popular, so that leaves the waffle as the perfect varient!

I think most british people would know what crumpets are, but thats the problem. Only british people. I didn’t even know what strudel was until I searched it (Btw it looks tasty!) So yes, Waffle is perfect BUT I think Crumpet and Strudel and the runner ups

I don’t know. i think the best option is to choose things that are known across many different countries, to avoid confusion. so waffle and choco toast, do you know if cinnamon toast is a popular food?

I have never really heard of cinamonn on toast (if you don’t count french toast). I would definitely not mind CHOCO TOAST to get some spotlight.
