I looked on the Hive roadmap expecting Murder Mystery to be put in “In Progress” now. But, it’s still “Next Up” Hive is trying to appeal to their biggest audience but forgetting about the smaller audiences too. I wouldn’t be surprised in Bedwars Season 5 is already in progress stage tomorrow.

If I was the owner of the Hive, BW seasons/updates would release twice per year every 6 months, while all other Gamemodes would get prioritized DEFINITELY!!!

Perhaps it may seem that way, but if you were to stand in their shoes, you might find that this is the best thing to do currently but I do agree that maybe BedWars is recieving to much attention and they should spread their focus to other games which would be better for people who enjoy other games such as Block Party or Murder Mystery

Yes, because of a few reasons.
- It goes left to right and in a chromatic order from orange to green. Why would it start in the middle, go left, then go far right?
- Things spawn in the progress stage, not coming next.

if hive stopped prioritizing BW which is one of the most popular what would happen. Less updates to bw could be bad for them but I also want more updates to different games.
MM fans who have been promised the MM update for while are in shambles that their favorite mimi game hasn’t gotten an update so BW doesn’t need to be prioritized, if I ever own the Hive Server I would make sure that all other Gamemodes would receive the treatment that BW is receiving right now so that the server can be more fun.

But you have to think about it. Hive is prioritizing bw is most popular game and brings in a bunch of players! They also have limited staff and might not have the money to have staff! There’s a lot of stuff that go’s into a update. Updates cost money time and resources! And Bw also brings in more players which means more money. If they were to add more updates to other smaller games there profits will go down. To add on to this there working on an update but updates take time.

Have a glance at this. Updating bedwars less would not kill the mode. Actually huge updates all the time could possibly kill the game as it could make the game too complicated with all the new features and items

their prioritizing of bedwars has also delayed the mm update for 10 months at this point, since it was changed to coming next, and its been over a year since it was announced. It was also put back into the in progress section before being reinstated to coming next a short time afterward. something seriously needs to change.

There’s games with potential yet Hive doesn’t update them so they become bland and repetitive. Duels was not even polished on release. There were 4 maps to even choose from, and they made those who pay go first.
I played a few rounds and absolutely hated it. Sweats overran the game during early release, then it wasn’t even fun to play after because it was mostly newer players.
I really hope the delay is worth it, but I’m losing faith that it will be. It could even just include one map and a poorly made ltm. I doubt that though and I really really hope that the Hive team can brew up a really good update.

Fair point CTF has old buy menu which lags out many time ,while the buy menu on bw is much faster and stable
Also CTF lacks any major updates ,skywars too
A lot of OG players like it the way it is but for new players it’s just not stimulating enough

Remember skyblock horizons? Yeah, that was supposed to come out in 2024. Maybe, just maybe hive finally is starting to show love for the other gamemodes instead of bw. There are currently no updates in the in progress section and only one in coming next, the MM update. My as well have a separate section for MM saying coming next year. But jokes aside, since they aren’t any BW updates in progress. Thats one positive. However, the negative is that we (the community) has no insight on what future updates could hold.
p.s. not everyone can have access to discord (hint: please add separate channels so forumers who dont have discord or just dont use it can talk about random stuff without worrying about going really off topic)
