I was so excited when the MM update was announced. I know Hive’s team is probably working very hard on it, but it is very frustrating when just build was prioritized, then bedwars, then bedwars again?? Maybe hive o ween and winterfest slowed progress down somewhat but still =/
Its understandable that bedwars is the most popular gamemode. But there’s still a large community split out across the other games.

I don’t understand what hive is doing. First they shadow drop Cosmic Clash, then remove Manor from cs. And now they continue to prioritize Bedwars:

We know for a fact that the MM update will release either January or February, I don’t even know what Duels is, but other game modes should’ve gotten more prioritized than BW

Really?? That’s sooner than I thought the MM update would release. I thought it would be released in mid 2026, but hearing it is sooner is very exciting. Doesn’t In Progress mean they’re currently developing/working on it? If so, then I feel the MM update should come before. Yes, BW has the highest player count, but I know a lot more dedicated MM players than BW players…

It’s gotten to a point where it doesn’t feel like we are meant to play the Murder Mystery update yet. Instead, it feels as though they only care about Bedwars and expensive cosmetics that serve no purpose.
I’m very disappointed.

Right now, it feels like they feels as if it has been released and that they are going to continue with Bedwars stuff. I don’t even think cosmetics are issues I think the main issue I see is Bedwars. They are prioritizing it over the games that have been there for so long. Im not trying to be rude, but they are looking for money not player enjoyment.

sorry y’all bw is my fav game mode so I do get where your coming, from. Not trying to be annoying, y’all have earned my respect, but not my vote. Because I feel like hive (if they add this will prolly interpretate it as no more bw updates)

How will they interpret it as no more bw updates? We’re simply asking for them to give other games the equal treatment they deserve. Updating bw is fine but not in the way hive is doing it imo

This has been ridiculous for a while. Many game modes on the hive need constant updates to keep its footing. Games like block drop, a fun, amazing game that most players like, has so little players due to lack of updates. Other game modes like gravity and deathrun become so repetitive due to lack of maps(for veterans, if you’re starting there’s definitely plenty of maps you need to master), which haven’t received maps in a very long time. Things like the murder mystery update which will improve progression, new ways to play(ltm), gives a micro hub to find others to play with, and new things to grind for depending or not if the challenges have cosmetic rewards or not, aren’t getting released anytime soon due to bedwars being so popular. Which murder mystery has been needing all the those changes for a longg time.
The thing about bedwars is it wont lose it’s footing if they slow down on updates if they do it correctly. Last season they stated more items would come out in a mid season update, but that never happened. It’s safe to assume it was cancelled to push out this new season, which is awful. The way bedwars is set up allows for new items to drop anytime, new challenges, and new cosmetics to collect from challenge medals. Basically they could give us fresh content all the time without having to make a new season all the time. They should focus on that, less overhauls, but more content for us as well as balancing. We don’t care about maps or a new micro hub design, at least I don’t. Maps in pvp games barely affect the gameplay as opposed to a new item. The Hive could reuse items from other games as well without making it stale as bedwars is a widely different game from all other pvp modes.

The last time I remember a major game update was Just Build. All the other ones are bedwars bedwars. I’m hoping other games will get updates soon, but I’m losing hope because of duels.

This is exactly why my FIRST post on the forums was calling out the hive. They are clearly rushing out these bedwars seasons to milk bedwars even if they are rushed and half-baked. Every other game-mode is getting horribly neglected while bedwars gets like 6 major updates. I’m pretty disappointed.
