Still kind of unbalanced imo, you should have to make the choice to be offensively dangerous. Resource management is one of the keys to twars, and this would remove some of this

true this will make breaking treasures super hard unless you have diamond armour as the sword will keep doing damage and u wont have that much progress in breaking it (unless u have tools)

i think it would be a bit balanced as you can deal with this a little more easily if someone has a sword. but i would go with a stone shovel just so it does 3 damage.

When I play solos everytime I get blocks for the treasure and to rush my neighbor but then my neighbor rushes me with a sword and kills me

Also what would be the point of spawning in with a sword if the other player they are afraid of has one to? It wouldn’t change anyrhing, but it would make stuff more complicated.
Scrim strategy needing to change is irrelevant imo, I’ve played mineplex cakewars which has this, and I’d be fully in favor as long as hive would remove the golden apple cap
