SkyWars XP Change (In time for Prestige)

Let’s do a simulation under the following conditions:
-You are an “average” player (not a sweat)
-You play 3 hours maximum PER DAY
-You level up approximately 1 day (without using XP Boost)

Doing the math, in two weeks you will have only leveled up 14 levels with a lot of effort, and that’s if we stick to these conditions.

But going from 75 levels to 100 in three days… not even M A G A Y O can do that (“magayo” is a sweat who plays at dawn in CTF, he is LETHAL, VERY LETHAL)

I love this idea! Voted

Mining ores and opening chests and placing blocks are not really in game goals, so experience would not be necessary for those. Kill leader xp is fine imo. Blocks xp would promote block spamming and runners, and there are already enough of those! :joy:

I just added these since they’re ways of getting experience in other games.

Cool! The closest I can think of is breaking in Blockdrop because it gets harder and harder.

We need a get xp for getting kill leader and bonus 10xp for winning as kill leader

yes those are the conditions needed to max prestige in two weeks. But max prestige shouldn’t be something easily achievable in a few weeks or months for people who aren’t grinding for it. As far as I’m aware there’s no precedent hive has set for changing xp on the fly like this, plus it would be unfair to people who maxed out skywars before the changes. Max prestige is meant to show that someone’s dedicated an insane amount of time to leveling up the game, there’s no need to make that easier to do.

They’re not asking for 100xp for breaking a piece of grass, they’re just asking for either a slight xp boost, or xp gain in certain specific circumstances, such as:
-killing the assassin leader
-winning as a leader
-mining certain minerals (which here would be a very low xp gain)

As you read, some requests are reasonable, others not so much. But that’s the idea. The increase would help the community to play with more motivation.

In short: vote, vote and don’t stop voting. Live the experience of having voted on the topic before it was closed.

This isn’t the supreme court.

Tell that to a little timmy who dreams of maxxing skywars one day and sees how hard it’ll be. We can give maxxed players some reward as compensation as well if need be.

It’s not like eveything is being increased by 20 exp. The exp changes suggested are only an increase of 5-10 exp. It’s not the end of the world.

Having games too hard to level up discourages players from grinding it, it’d be best for everyone if they make it slightly easier. It’s not out of the ordinary for Hive to make grinding easier, they did it twice for bridge, once for mm, once for bed, and have stated they will make it easier for gw eventually(that’s all that I know of). On top of that, 90% of games when adding more content make the lower levels easier to progress, it helps keep players interested in playing instead of turned away from how long it’ll take to get maxed.

I think he may just be saying that because he was maxed or is maxed however I am not because I don’t spend that much of my day playing so I’m like level 50 and I think that if somebody really tried they could get max easily

They are absolutely maxxed since I see no other reason to be against this unless you’re maxxed (Or level 75 pre-levels update) and didn’t want it to be easier for others because: “I grinded for it the old way, so everybody else can do it just as easily no matter the situation”. (That’s the only way of thinking I could imagine. Maybe it’s different for others)

I’m not maxed, I just don’t see the point in making maxing easier. Like TS3 said maxing is easy if someone really tries. Skywars isn’t a game that levels up painfully slowly like sg or ground wars so there isn’t a need for it to be faster.

Alright. I respect your opinion. Thanks for participating.

Ground wars and survival games isn’t harder then skywars

(I would know because I’ve maxed them all)

Somebody who is new or mid would have to really try. A sweat/tryhard wouldn’t have to really try to max. Sure, they can really try to make it faster, but the other two groups will have to really try to max. Casuals really trying could mean being more aggressive. You get the point? “Really trying” can mean a lot of things, so you can’t just say that without specifying which group you’re talking about. The only groups who wouldn’t get burnt out after really trying are sweats/tryhards and dedicated grinders.

This depends on how skilled you are at the game. Also, there is a very big difference in skill between Skywars and Groundwars. In Skywars, you actually have to know what you’re doing and do it well. In Groundwars, you just have to know how Hive’s projectiles work or get lucky with a few close-range shots and get carried.

someone who is new or mid or not skilled at the game doesn’t need to be max or prestige :person_shrugging:

I can confidently say this is the worst counter-argument I have ever seen on this site. If you’re out of ways to defend your point, then stop defending it.

Edit: I stand corrected. (See below)
