I think this undermines the point of bows in treasure wars, which are the only item to offer health info after a successful shot, encouraging good aim and not offering intel that hasn’t been worked for
this might be a little bit annoying as my strategy to chase the enemy when i am low would not work anymore

Sorry for the double post, but these topics really cannot stay alive.
There is a texture pack that does this and other bedrock servers that do this so this can definitely be implemented. This would be great to have against people with diamond armor in treasure wars and people with protection helmets in skywars.
Was this bump and double post against the rules?

I think the pack isn’t allowed because it’s an “unfair advantage”
It’s not allowed but there isn’t really a way to tell if someone is using it unfortunately so that rule is just useless.

Yeah I asked the discord, that was just to prove that this idea is possible.
If hive can add texture packs to their server, can they add a texture that shows players health? Showing health texture packs have been made before but are against the rules of hive because not everyone was able to have one.

Yeah this could be a nice addition so this isn’t only limited to those who have the Resource pack that allows this(Mainly Pc and mobile players)

Yes but the problem is that no one can tell if you’re using it, so people could use it against you without you knowing. That’s why it should be available to everyone as part of the game.

Even though this is a nice thing to see and have. I like not being able to see other’s health, it gives you some more strategy in Minecraft. You can make someone think you have more health then you really do. This is a nice thing I like to have, to need to focus also on how you act in a fight, not only how good at pvp are you.

It would hurt alot of players more than it would help. Think about it, say you’re on 1 heart, but the other player doesn’t know that and started to run. I can’t tell you how many times this would happen. It’s basically what Dream stated in one video. “They have no idea what my health is, so they ran”. Besides, you can use a bow…That helps to start a combo, and tell you what hp your opponent is at.
