SG Hazards

Idea:

Add map-specific hazards to sg.

More information:

Currently, sg doesn’t really have anything to make it stand out or to make it especially enjoyable. I propose a refresh to fix this by adding in hazards/disasters.

A few examples:

  1. Gravity flips on Mobius
  2. Air strikes on SG4
  3. Electric water in Flashpoint

Players would be notified 30-45 seconds in advance so they can combat the hazards (finding safe spots on a map, getting inside, leaving the water, etc.) I believe this could completely revive the game if balanced well. This suggestion also goes well with a moving border such as this.

Yes, this is a really good idea, it could be hard to add though. I like the idea of 0 gravity on mobius. But how would you survive that? Do you mean like hide under a tree so when the gravity flips you land on the leaves on the bottom of the tree?

One thing tho, how long would these last for?

Yeah, hiding in a building or tunnel would be the main way to avoid it (maybe cobwebs could be used too?). The idea is that players are concentrated together for a bit.

I would say it’s best to have some variety, some could last for 30 seconds, some a 1-2 minutes, etc.
