Santa's Festive Games (winter ltm)

As many of you may know, Hive’s Winterfest 2022 was made up of 4 microgames where you play as an elf in santa’s workshop. These games were short and fun. If they were all combined into one game, then that would make for a perfect winter ltm!

The Game

There would be 4 main rounds along with a boss minigame to end it. Over the rounds players would gain points based on their how well they did. After all 4 rounds and the boss game the player with the most points would win!

More details

The 3 rounds would be picked from a pool of minigames, here are some examples of what they games could be (most of these are variations of the winterfest 2022 ones):

  • Build - a race to replicate 6 different micro-builds.
    1st: 16 points
    2nd: 12 points
    3rd: 10 points
    4th: 8 points
    5th: 5 points

  • Check - Punching broken toys into fire but leaving the un-broken ones.
    100% 18 points
    90% 14 points
    80% 10 points
    70% 8 points
    60% 6 points
    50% 4 points

  • Sort - Sort gifts by color / shape.
    100% 16 points
    90% 14 points
    80% 10 points
    70% 8 points
    60% 6 points
    50% 4 points

  • Wrapping - Wrap gifts with different colored bows / paper based on the shown gift
    25 gifts: 18 points
    20 gifts: 14 points
    15 gifts: 10 points
    10 gifts 6 points
    5 gifts 4 points

  • Delivery - Deliver 8 gifts around town
    1st: 16 points
    2nd: 12 points
    3rd: 10 points
    4th: 8 points
    5th: 5 points

Boss games

Boss games would be more about pvp then the normal games. Here are some I thought of:

  • Snowball fight - Free for all where each player can get hit 3 times before being out.
    1st: 25 points
    2nd: 20 points
    3rd: 15 points
    4th: 10 points

  • Ice Boating - Boat down an ice track to the finish
    1st: 25 points
    2nd: 20 points
    3rd: 15 points
    4th: 10 points
    5th: 5 points

Feel free to suggest more!

This year it will have been 4 years since we have had a winterfest game. I really want one and think this game would be perfect for that

BUMP! I hate when people start celebrating Christmas before Thanksgiving (Unless you aren’t American). BUT I am really hoping for a winter LTM this year and would love this :crossed_fingers:

Another bump! We now have 2 Halloween Ltms but still don’t have a winter one. Personally I prefer Christmas so an ltm for it would be great.

Maybe for a boss game you could have a giant snowman Bossfight. the players would get snowballs or fireballs to damage the boss and you get points depending on how much damage you do. the boss could throw big snowballs and rain icicles onto the arena. if you get hit you can’t throw snowballs for 10 seconds. the arena could be a ring around the snowman. idk the boss hp or how many points you get per hit

Would it give points based on damage you dealt?

That’s what I’m thinking, but it could also be damage changes your placement so if you do the most damage you get 1st place, second most damage is 2nd place etc..

You made me think of dodgeball which might work in minecraft
