To make skywars classic more vanilla like, crafting and red stone can be added.
The hive trapping scene have been quite dead because there aren’t much things people can do. Maybe adding a kit to skywars classic called something like “the logical” adding red stone and pistons can revive hive trapping.
The ability to craft would also be a great part to the game and make it have more of a vanilla vibe.
It has recently come to my attention that crafting would be over powered, a patch that could be made is that there are limited recipes like wooden things. Shields, armour etc would not be allowed to be crafted
Redstone and pistons sound great as long as with them comes a measure to prevent people from just making massive lag machines.
Crafting is not a good idea. People could mine decorative diamond blocks and just make full diamond, also that would depend on your version of Minecraft so they would have to update frequently and restrict which versions you could join with.i
