Yes, I verified my email and now it is linked to my XBOX account! 
Will my username just be Scratchfangs with no numbers? I’m 100% positive it hasn’t been taken.

If your Xbox gamertag has no numbers, yes your forum name won’t have any.

In regards to the questions about whether members of staff will be able change your username to something other than your Gamertag:
This is not something that we will be doing going forward. There is sadly no easy or clean way of doing this and allowing it would create a lot of unnecessary extra work for our support team.
Whilst we understand that some of you will prefer the usernames you have now, please understand our reasoning for these changes, as highlighted by @clankstar above.

It shouldn’t be necessary at the moment since you’ll be automatically linked via your Xbox login when this change happens. If we ever added it, it wouldn’t be available immediately, so you’d have to email [email protected] if you end up with any linking issues.

The only difference you should notice is needing to login via your Xbox login rather than your forum email and password

I have Hive+ on my other email and my Xbox account with this email doesn’t have Hive+
Nor does it use “LightKnight2311”
I rencetly changed it to LightKnight, but it won’t have the same numbers
