I have a suggestion so that when people fall they have at least more than 3 seconds to live while falling, the reason why i say so is because not enough people can ender pearl clutch
I think another solution they could make would be to make ender pearls twice as fast.

It could also be made more possible to do it the sides of islands. They aren’t steep enough
