New message

Idea:
[I just joined and realised there is no message that says ‘welcome to the hive’]

More information:

[the message can say ‘Be sure to play skywars for fun action and ‘play murder mystery to detect the murderer’]
It appear once

Is this for every time you join The Hive or when it’s your first time joining?

Every time

This could get annoying…

Do you think it should be only once?

I think it would be great QOL if it will say it while joining first time. Well, good idea!

Just seems unnecessary to add (for every time). It’s like that default message that Minecraft has for how to chat. You understood it the first time but you don’t need to see it after a week playing. That’s why a lot of players turn this toggle off.

When you join The Hive for the first time, certainly!

Everytime you log on The Hive, please no! As stated above, it can get very annoying seeing the message appear anytime you log on.

Fine one time then

Why Skywars and murder mystery specifically?

What about something like this when you join for the first time? I think this would be
pretty cool. :]

“expirience” is actually spelled “experience”

No problem!

It was actually just an example. No need to critisize me when i just couldnt be bothered to type it out. But i appreciate the thought.
@Zanelees Great! Do you mind if i put this in the main post?

I love the concept :two_hearts: but maybe some players will get annoyed from the textbox because they would like to explore the world first?

We could have it be an item in the inventory instead, and it could only appear for the first couple of times that they log on…

Yeah, I wouldn’t want to read a bunch of text as the first thing I do on a server. This idea is getting more complicated now but likely won’t do much still.
It’s funny how much people care about this suggestion even though they’d never see the message.
