I bet Hive would break 40k players if any unique PVP game was added.

This should be added after the Mixed Arcade. I see a lot of potential for this game. It could bring in a new player base that we havenât seen.
The biggest concern though is that it could be a bit hard for newer players. Hopefully The Hive can find a way to address this if it does become an issue.
BUNP for discussion
I am planning on redoing some of my ideas and making changes to them.
I love how you always make your suggestions so thought out and well made Light. I think this is a very cool game, it has interesting ideas and sounds fun. I would love to see this added especially with the idea of it being a more vertical map.

Removed the poll an edited some things a bit (I removed the poll because it caused a bug not allowing me to edit without removing it.)
Iâd like to see some discussion on this. I know this is an old thread, but I still think this could be worth Hiveâs time adding if done right.
This is like a mix between Skywars and Survival game
Imma vote for it
I really like this idea, would fit in well with mixed arcade
I donât really think this would fit well with the Mixed Arcade. Games in the Mixed Arcade usually have concepts too small to be replicated as official games. This however, could work well as its own game since its concept has more variety and is more fleshed out than what you would usually find in most arcade games.
One question. If you die from the water (assuming thatâs a way to die I havenât read the entire thing) then how are people supposed to get your loot from your crate if itâs underwater? Will it go to the closest non-water block? But soon the water will take over that block tooâŚ
Sorry if this question was already asked lol
By the way, I think the name should be something that doesnât end with wars to avoid any assumptions about how the game works
Iâd like it if a death box touches water, it teleports to the killerâs feet. Much like with SG gravestones.
Maybe have it so the better loot is lower, so that players donât immediately beeline to the top and have an incentive to stay down. Take my vote though.
The point of the game is to build up though. Plus, Shulker bosses usually spawn lower first, and they have the best loot. On top of that, being low doesnât mean you wonât find any high-tier loot. Rare and uncommon boxes will still spawn at low levels. They just wonât be as common, hence their names.
Wow! I am LOVING this suggestion so much! And thank you for your very detailed description.
Would love to see that implemented! It would be interesting, stressful and fun at the same time by just trying to survive.
Oh so like the plan is to have the loot slowly rise? Because that is a really good solution.
BUNP!
-
Replaced the Levitation Boombox with a Levitation Cloud (I thought it would be nice to have a unique item that wasnât a boombox. Plus, having a levitation cloud makes more sense)
-
Added unstable dripstone (This would be great for trapping. Plus, 1.17 should be out soon and a block like this really suits a game with a vertical map)
-
Replaced the Energy Scroll with the Shulker Core. I think it just fits better with the theme of the game as a whole and makes more sense.
-
Added the Shulker Shield to the Shulker Boss loot table
-
Added the Point-proof helmet as a counter to unstable dripstone
-
Added back Block-breakers. We donât want people blocking themselves in all the time, do we?
Bump (just relized it was 6 months since the last comment)
This could be a really interesting gamemode.
If you draw a map design and send it to me I can try building an example since I will be doing online school for a few weeks. It will be at least a month do to being really busy. @LightKnight5742
Coincidentally, I actually was already working on a map design picture. Here it isâŚ
NOTE: It might take a pretty long time to build and example with a layout like this in mind
Edit: Any vertical arrow that measures 72 blocks will now say 24 blocks, any vertical arrow that measures 24 blocks will now say 16 blocks, and any vertical arrow that measures 128 will now say 48 blocks. This was due to a mistake I made when calculating how much space that distance actually leaves. Plus, it goes WAY beyond the world height. The width of each map displayed in the picture will stay the same, however.
Also, weâre almost at 100 votes!!!
Also, the âShulker Bossâ lable simply represents the island the Shulker Boss spawns on, not the Shulker Boss itself.
You got my vote im the 100th vote!!!
I bet this is where they got block drop
