I’ll say this as the one who suggested this: As much as I would love for this to be added to Hive, I think their main focus should be updating the games they have first (I mean, they already have 13 games on the server, which is more than what most have already). Nonetheless, this would be a great game to see on the server as something new for PvP players.
Also, I edited out unstable dripstone along with the point proof helmet. I think the dripstone would be kind of annoying if you just get randomly hit and since I edited out the dripstone, there would be no point in keeping the point proof helmet (No pun intended). I also edited the nemo to be 1 hit only and the fall boots to be just feather falling boots since 100% resistance to fall damage would be overpowered in this type of game.

First of all, a think the rising water should be replaced with rising void.
There could be a blackhole, or an endless starry night waiting dor you to fall. Either way, it would be better than water.
I feel like this game would be a lot better with lots of players, which makes me think that the coloured concrete idea should be dropped.
I think that items like snowballs and enderpearls should be taken out of the common lootbox, even if they only appear rarely. To me it just makes more sense to have them be just a little rarer.
Finally, the big shulker boss from the middle needs a big change of loot. It would absolutely suck to get items like andesite, or arrows when you could have gotten diamond armour.

I personally think water would be better since if it was a void that killed you instead, it would take a lot longer and you wouldn’t have as much of a chance to fall in it. With water that has more of a chance to kill you, it would make the survival aspect of the game a lot more intense and have a better chance of reducing the number of people camping. You could also make cooler plays with the water such as dropping into it if you are on fire and then quickly pearling to a nearby island so you don’t immediately die afterwards.
I also did take stuff like blocks and arrows out of the shulker boss loot. However, I had to slightly increase the amount of arrows you get from the rest of the loot boxes. I also agree that items like pearls and snowballs shouldn’t be common early on in the game, so they are no longer in the common box.
As far as players go, I actually kinda agree now that I think about it. With maps as big as that, it would be more intense and fun if more players were out there for you to kill.
Overall, I appreciate the feedback.
Just to clear up - i meant a custom sort of void.
It would basically function the same as the water, but it would just look cooler, and follow the theme better. Sorry for the confusion!
Oh, okay. That would look pretty cool, but it might have a negative effect on performance as opposed to having water.

I read the whole thing, but I’m confused with the Shulker Bosses. See, the Shulker Bosses kind of resemble islands, which can lead to mass confusion. I also have a problem with its size. The Shulker Boss is 24 blocks off of a Ring Island, and by how big it is, it’s got to be around 96 blocks in height, and 72 blocks in length. Which to me, seems too big. Shape and size could/would lead players to confuse the Shulker Bosses for another version of a Ring Island.
