My ping is just at 70-90ms every time I play because the Hive servers is in the NA East, and I am in the NA West region, Which makes it super unfair when i am fighting against a person who is 0-20ms because they actually live in the NA east region.
So, we should split North America regions up into three areas of NA regions, like NA West regions, NA Central, and NA East. This is to have players at least get better ping, Instead of NA Central and NA West players spending a grand fortune of money just to pay for better

I will answer those thoughts if you are thinking about it:
First of all, Have you considered that some of us dont have the money to move from the west coast/or central, to the east coast???
Second of all, Maybe I don’t want to quit, maybe i want to patiently wait here until my problems are solved.

I would be shocked if someone genuinely thought those are good suggestions. Obviously no one’s going to move house just because of the ping of a Minecraft Server. And no one would really expect you to quit because of ninety ping.
Adding more regions means Hive needs to build physical buildings in the said regions. Obviously that’s a pretty big deal, and I doubt it will happen. Servers generally like to build their North America region on the east coast because the majority of Minecraft players are on the eastern side of America.
I also think that ninety is a fine ping to play on. You could try strafing more. It’s far more effective to strafe as a laggier than average player. Low ping helps you get the first hit, which is obviously an advantage, but high-ping players are able to strafe more effectively. Just use your ping to your advantage.
Overall my point is that this would be extremely expensive and unnecessary. So long as your ping is consistent and below one hundred twenty, you’ll find the game is still playable. If you’re set on achieving low ping, I suggest using an ethernet cable, if you don’t already. That will help with your connection.

You’re correct, the Hive should have servers in Southern Panama and Wainwright, Alaska so other NA players can have better ping! The poor Greenlander Hive players will suffer no more! Voted.
NA is not in the east, it’s in Canada.

Adding additional regions is very expensive and not planned at this time. The current locations of our regions is mainly dictated by datacenter availability and networking capabilities. At this time, we have no plans to move any regions.
