Starting Context
Currently there are 3 Global Unlocks obtainable within the server. These include the following:
- Avatar’s
- Costumes
- Hub Titles
I would like to give some of my ideas on new unlocks that would make hive play experience a lot more customisable and unique.
Why am I making this suggestion?
I’m making this suggestion because I felt like there should be a purely new unique way to get unlockable and a lot of new ones. The idea behind this is to allow players to customise themselves even more on the hive. And besides, we have had the 3 current global unlocks for a really long time so I felt it deserved more attention and a few new more concepts
New Global Unlock Ideas
I have come up with some concepts of what new global unlocks could be. However, you do not gain these unlocks for levelling up in games. There is a new way of obtaining these unlocks.
In order to obtain these unlocks, you will need a crate key. Crates can be found in random places scattered around the hub so you can unlock these. To obtain a crate key, you will need to play games on the Hive. For every win you get, there is a small chance 1-5% to get one. This is ONLY if you win a game. However the keys can unlock the following:
- Kill Effects (All Games)
- Win Effects (All Games)
- Victory Poses (All Games)
- Particle Trails (Hub Only) - May not be part due to lag

Crate Information
Crates will give a 1-5% chance (dependent if suggestion is implemented) to give you a key if you win a game. Crates will have different rarities of rewards so some effects will be more unique than others.

Duplicates
If you manage to get a duplicate unlock, you will be granted the ability to add XP to any game. The amount of xp you can add to games will be dependent on what rarity you have been given the option on. Here is a small example below on how it could go
- Mythic - 5000 XP
- Legendary - 2500 XP
- Epic - 1000 XP
- Rare - 750 XP
- Uncommon - 500 XP
- Common - 250 XP
The XP amount granted is given on how common the reward is. Since mythic has a 1% chance, it would be a high XP amount (obviously)
Kill Effects
Kill effects appear when you kill a player. Kill effects do not appear for assists or if the person dies naturally

Victory Poses
Every time you win, you will do a victory pose on your podium(s).
Default: Clapping
Victory Poses List (In order of rarity)
[Mythic] Backflip then lean forward to do a peace sign
[Legendary] Lean forward and make a heart appear above your head (Heart explodes into smaller)
[Legendary] Frontflip
[Epic] Levitate + Raise hands (A crown will appear above hands)
[Epic] Bee swarm (A swarm of bees come around you and raise you a little
[Epic] Pretend to pull out a sword from your back then go into a fighting stance
[Rare] Stretching
[Rare] Brush dust off shoulders then cross arms (Might be a bit toxic lol)
[Rare] Sit down and tilt head to the side
[Rare] Piglin victory dance
[Uncommon] Pull out a crown and place it above you (crown levitates)
[Uncommon] Get a red nose and put it on you (then boop it ofc)
[Uncommon] Point to the podium next to you and wave
[Uncommon] Jump for joy (x3)
[Uncommon] Pet a bee then laugh
[Common] Wave
[Common] Bend over and stretch
[Common] Jump for joy (x1)
[Common] Bow
[Common] Curl up into a ball then stand up again

Particles (Hub Only)
Particles only appear when you are in the hub. As you are chilling out in the hub, these particles will show. (Only when you stand still) - Lag Prevention

Ideas I Scrapped
Here are some ideas I came up with but decided to scrap. I will also say why I scrapped them and decided not to include them within the list above.
Hub Armour
Hub armour would allow you to wear coloured leather pieces in the hub. I just felt that this would look really bad as there would be too many things to unlock and people would most likely get annoyed while unlocking armor pieces (They have no better use than to show off)
Pet Cosmetics
Yes, I did also scrap this. Only because most hive players do not own a hive pet at this time and it would be pretty disappointing to see they got a pet cosmetic while not owning a pet. This would be very unfair. (Maybe good for another suggestion guys)
