Idea:

The party chat should be allowed even when there’s only 2 people in the party

Always wanted to use the party chat with my friend but cannot due to the current party chat system on hive

This won’t happen to protect minors on the Hive.

As stated by IAmClankStar; Minecraft has a lot of younger players and this barrier prevents minors being messaged one-on-one, always requiring a third player to be involved. This combined with both chat filtering and other enforcement actions helps keep players safe.

As has been mentioned, we are unable to implement 1-1 private communication on The Hive. This is down to player safety reasons and Microsoft policies surrounding this.
