Give players their loot in the 5 second timer, not after

Hello. I am maxed out in CTF, and ive got really good at it, but theres just 1 thing i dont like about it.

When the game begins, everyone is teleported to their spawn area, and have to wait 5 seconds until they can move and the game actually begins. When the game actually begins, all players are given they items. Now, im not sure if most people do it, but the layout in the hotbar is a sword, then a pickaxe, then a bow. When the game begins, i swap the bow and the pickaxe around, but this costs me so much time that i am the last to leave my spawn.

It might be a good idea to give players the loot they would get, like their blocks, weapons, armour, in the 5 seconds before the game actually begins, rather than when it does begin. People can arrange their inventory how theyd like without worrying about others leaving them behind and doing whatever they do in the game.

I hope you like my idea, and this could potentially fit into other games too! (Except MM, because of sheriff and murderer)

Yes, this would help a lot.

Great suggestion, theres no reason it shouldn’t be added!

This should be added, but I think saved hotbars like in bridge would also help. Both being added would be great.

I really do think it would help. You ever arrange ur hotbar and your ready, then realise that no one is waiting for you as the games began? Its kinda annoying, but this easily solves it. This could fit into a minor update for Hive, as well as the update to the lobby.

I don’t play capture the flag often, but I do know that it’s very crucial to organize your inventory based on your preferences when it comes to pvp. As long as block placement and bow drawing/usage is disabled before the actual game starts, this idea could prove beneficial towards players. You have my vote.
