Skybombers! :boom: :crossed_swords: :bomb: :boom:

Skybombers, Skywars but with a lot more destruction.

Differences with Skywars

  • All swords are enchanted with Knockback I.
  • Fall boots are much more common, and are enchanted with Feather Falling II.
  • Gold Ore is replaced with Nether Gold Ore.
  • All bows have explosive arrows.
  • Emerald and Diamond ores are slightly more common.
  • There are 4 different type of islands: Outer Islands (where everyone spawns), Inner Islands, Outer Mid Islands, and The Middle Island.
  • Similar to Skywars Royale, islands will explode after a while.
  • Boomboxes are much more common.
  • Knockback Nemo is replaced with the Boom-Boom Stick, which causes an explosion whenever it successfully hits someone.
    • These explosions will not destroy any blocks.
  • Emerald Ore gives Blast Protection armor instead of Protection.

Additions

Blocks

  • Block of TNT

    • Function: Regular building block, doesn’t have any unique function, similar to regular TNT but can’t explode, can’t be lit.
    • Rarity: Common
    • Quantity: 16 (20%), 32 (30%), 64 (50%)

  • Blast-proof Stone

    • Function: Custom block, Regular building block, blast resistance of Obsidian, mining speed of Stone.
    • Rarity: Rare
    • Quantity: 16 (100%)

Items

  • Super Boombox

    • Function: Custom item, similar to Boombox but can break blocks, can’t stack.
    • Rarity: Very Rare
    • Quantity: 1 (100%)

  • Dynamite

    • Function: Custom item, physics of a Snowball, explodes after a while, can’t break blocks, can stack up to 16.
    • Rarity: Uncommon
    • Quantity: 1 (10%), 2 (10%), 4 (20%), 8 (40%) 16 (20%)

  • Bomb

    • Function: Custom item, physics of a Snowball, similar to Dynamite but explodes on impact, can’t break blocks, can stack up to 16.
    • Rarity: Rare
    • Quantity: 1 (30%) 2 (40%) 4 (30%)

  • Fireball

    • Function: Similar to ghast fireballs but can be thrown, can break blocks, can stack up to 16.
    • Rarity: Rare
    • Quantity: 1 (30%) 2 (40%) 4 (20%) 8 (10%)

  • Boom-Boom Stick

    • Function: Custom item (texture of a regular stick), weapon, deals no extra damage, spawns an explosion after successfully hitting a player, can’t break blocks, can’t stack.
    • Rarity; Very Rare
    • Quantity: 1 (100%)

Why?

Hive is a great server, but sometimes it lack originality. This game would not only be an original, fun game, but it could also bring the hive one step closer to being more popular than cubecraft. Also explosions are cool.

I really like the idea and if you want I’ll let you use a Boombox I introduced in my Seasonal Kits!

Maybe the name isn’t the best, we might choose another one.

Yep, but making it destroy all blocks makes it much more destructive. Also it’s pretty rare

I put it in the topic that it break all blocks, the fireball should stay the same in other gamemodes but in here it breaks all blocks

the Boom-Boom Stick could have fire aspect and knockback or maybe have a variant that is like the ice and fire rods from link to the past

fire aspect and knockback is unnessecary as it already causes an explosion, and the ice stick doesn’t really match the theme of the game, this is about bombs not ice
