Cross Region Matchmaking Support for NA

Asia and Europe are getting much attention with their cross-region matchmaking for some game modes. I’m quite confused why they can’t do North America as that would be very useful in making games fill up quickly. I feel like a big part of maxing games is just waiting in the lobbies for people to join such as for Gravity if you are decent at it your in the lobby at least 1/4 of the entire time of maxing the game. By having Cross Region matchmaking supper for North America this wouldn’t be much of a problem also seeing how if this happens the Other regions can also fill up quite fast.

Games that should have NA support:

  • Ground Wars for sure
  • Bridge
  • Capture The Flag
  • Deathrun
  • Survival Games
  • Block Party PLEASE!

AFAIK NA has alot more players so cross-region matchmaking isn’t at all needed. I could be wrong tho.

There already is: the other day I was playing Block Drop, and it said that it took me to another region!

Cross-Region Matchmaking is enabled on NA for the same games as EU and AS. We initially launched in EU and AS as they are the regions with the least players, and biggest fluctuation in player numbers over a 24 hour period. We’ll enable it for more games as we continue developing and improving this functionality.
