Blindness boom box(flashbombs) and griefing boom boxes

Idea:

When skywars was added, people expected that tnt be able to break blocks so what if there was a tnt that could, aswell as a tnt that gave you blindness

More information:

There should be a type of tnt that gave players blindness effects when it goes off which would let players sneak attack opponents. About griefing tnt, many players expected tnt to be able to break blocks in games and were utterly disappointed, so what if there was a “griefing boom box” that was able to destroy blocks like normal tnt? If any of these 2 items were added it would make the game way funner.

I like the idea of grief tnt. I guess it could work like it won’t damage the players or deal knockback. I have mixed feelings about blindness tnts, but they could work too

Hi there!

I agree with you that there should be boom boxes that actually break blocks and act like tnt. It would be super cool to play around with and fight others with. For the blindness boom box, I can see your point but its probably just not needed.

But, I think in general there are just too many different types of boom boxes at the moment. There are too confusing to use and in the heat of battle you just can’t think about using them. I think the entire boom box thing has to be reworked and only have 1-2 different types to keep things simple.

There was a suggestion that Hive could change the looks of them in inventory. I am against deleting some types

What if blindness tnt were to replace frozen tnt? They are about the same type of tnt that can render you unable to navigate or run away

I wouldn’t mind if that change happened. I frankly don’t use boom boxes that much and most other players don’t use it either.

if they replaced the freeze bomb with the flash bomb then that would make less sense to actually do it

do it to the poison one it’s not complete effective

The poison boom box can decrease the opponent’s health and it’s very useful.
