Australian Server Region

Well if they add australian servers (not region) and have it communicate with other english servers then the player issue is solved but asia is left in the dust.

Honestly that’s surprising, its not like theres few people playing minecraft in general in asia so i dont understand why there are so few on the hive. (unless i’m a sleepy boi when theyre online)

I dont know because well this could be expensive. Hive would need to evaluate the amount of people that are going to be using it.

That doesn’t really make any sense. Adding a server = adding a region. Unless you mean that while in hub, you’re connected to NA and while ingame you’re connected to Oceania

The Hive said in their most recent ‘article’ on updates.playhive.com that they are working towards a region agnostics update which will allow players to play with players on other regions from their home region.

So if they could add australian servers australians could get lowish ping, while in an english region, therefore removing australians from the asia region making ultra low player counts.

I am from Aus and I play in the Asia region, Until Dec23 I got 100 ping. For some reason now I am getting 280+ ping. The game has become borderline unplayable. Can anyone inform me is there a reason for this?

I am also from Australia and I have been having similar problems its not fair that we are just lumped with Asia

No there is alredy 1 Indonesia region that they have but u need the ip adress to do it its prety secret tho and it should be on the fetured 1

The “region agnostic quest” is basically trying to solve this issuef

No… the region agnostic queue only applies to existing regions.
