I was playing a murder mystery game when I was shot by an ally with a bow and died. Some people shoot on purpose, so
I would like the rules to be changed so that only the person who shoots the bow dies when it hits an ally.
The thing is, this would have it be where there is no risk in getting in the way, or acting as the murd. Plus it could lead to lots of trolling with people jumping into shots. It only makes sense that it should kill you.

That’s true. This is a difficult issue.
The more clear issue, is that sheriff could just shoot everyone until they get a hit, if only the mur dies, that could be the new plan, which would be kinda boring 
No hate to you, and welcome to the forums, but realistically, that would just destroy the suspense of the game sometimes and also cause more frustration in the community. Imo, getting shot as inno because an inno can’t aim vs someone just shooting randos until they kill me when im mur, id choose option A any day.
