XP Increase for Bridge

After the recent XP increases for GW and SB, I believe Bridge also deserves an update. The low player count in Bridge leads to long queue times, and the high XP requirements for leveling up make it hard to stay motivated. I’m currently level 14, and even with an 85% boost, I’m only making 2-3 pixels of progress per game. It takes around 3 hours of grinding to level up, and I lose motivation after just an hour.

If XP gains were updated as follows:

• Kill – 5 XP

• Goal – 25 XP

• Win – 50 XP

I think the game would feel much more balanced and enjoyable.

Im a slow grinder and I got this mode pretty fast; imo we dont need it any faster than it already is unless they add more levels

As I mentioned earlier, Bridge doesn’t have as many players as other game modes, and queue dodgers significantly increase wait times, which hurts motivation. Increasing XP rewards could help compensate for the long wait times and boost player motivation. They’ve done this for GW, so they could do the same for Bridge.

if anything this just means more people will max and most people stop playing once they max : P

Bridge doesn’t need any experience boosts. You can level bridge super quickly, especially given the low cap. What bridge needs is some update to the game itself. I personally don’t experience any queueing issues regardless.

I do speak from experience as a maximum level player.

We must be opposites, I maxed and think it was too hard. I even maxed gw before the major xp buff to it.

Although, I believe the game needs redone before messing with xp. The kits are bad, leap is by far the best. Theres no action, just running and one or two hits. Then the game ends too fast. Grinding is extremely boring, something needs to change.

I absolutely agree with you. Golden apple kit is only used by the absolute most ignorant players due to how bad it is, and leap is way too overpowering.

Let’s go over the situation again:

The player count in the game is low, queue dodgers are increasing wait times, XP requirement per level is too high, and XP rewards per round is too low.

I have a few suggestions to fix this.

Option 1: Keep the level cap at 20 and increase XP rewards. Good for new players, but unfair to those who spent hours grinding to max the game.

Option 2: Increase the level cap to 30, but don’t increase XP rewards. Rework the required XP per level up to level 20, and smooth out the aggressive increases. This would make progression more balanced, but players will see their levels decrease slightly.

Option 3: Increase the level cap to 30, keep the total required XP up to level 20 the same. Add new levels with less aggressive XP scaling, and increase XP rewards per round. This balances the game better.

Option 3 makes the most sense. If the game raises the level cap to 30, adjusts XP scaling and rewards properly, and adds meaningful rewards for the new levels (a Golden Crown hat at level 30, cool hub titles and avatars), it would bring back players who already finished the game and re-motivate those who lost interest.

Also, introducing new kits (potions, totems, spell books, different weapons) and cosmetics (level-based goal sounds, kill effects) would take the experience to the next level. I believe this could significantly boost the player count.

There’s one more option: Leave the game as is and let it die, since it’s pretty repetitive and dull in its current state.

In my opinion, this would be a good idea, however if they did add this, then they should also increase the max level to 25 or 30
