So I missed yesterdays gift since i can only join in the mornings but WHY can gifts expire like WHY do we have to pay ten bucks for us to get expired gifts cant we get within 3 days not like 5 hours after its released.

You have 24 hours to get them.

Sorry you missed it! It has always been the case (for the last 5 years) that each present is only available for 24 hours, starting at midnight UTC each day.
With the December Daily All Access Pass, you can also open any missed presents.
