Why don't the pets make sounds?

Why don’t the pets make sounds? It’s like they forgot how to make sounds. I think this is a flaw that should have been fixed long ago. The same goes for the vehicles and even the public transport - the main train of the main lobby. It’s strange, it seems like an omission. Adding such a small detail could greatly improve the atmosphere of the main lobbies, they would seem more alive to us.

If this is added I would like it to be able to disable it. It could be annoying

Yeah same here.
…so how are they supposed to get sounds? ..Like, record something? If so, then this isn’t good since I’d slow down other major projects, such as mini-hubs.

Well, how could it be without it?

Sorry, I didn’t understand you at all, could you please give more details?

Basically. How are they gonna get sounds for the pets? Recording them? Not a good idea.

And? How do you think Mojang created the sounds for the mobs in vanilla Minecraft? I don’t see any problem with using real animal sounds.

well here would be the problem in bigger servers
NEEEOOWN VROOOOM BRR
MEEH BAAH MOOO
FROOOOM PROOMM
RIBBIT CHIRP VROOM
NEEEEOWN NEWONE VROOM CHIRP
GRR ANDOMDH FRPONMSM

Point is, loudness.

Yes. That and they would need to spend a LOT of time to record sounds. It’d slow down other projects.

Well, everyone will have the option to turn off the sounds. I didn’t mean constant sounds, I meant every 15 seconds some quacking, grunting, etc. for pets.

And? It’s not that long and complicated.

This is the most ridiculous argument, and let’s delete all the games except Bedwars, look how many advantages there will be: firstly, the hives will be diligently engaged only in Bedwars, secondly, their servers will not be loaded, thirdly, their software will be more stable, fourthly, they will have more time to ban cheaters.
let’s do it this way?
Nothing terrible will happen if they spend a couple of days adding sounds for pets, I think they have development departments for each part of the server, let’s not forget that they earn money with their work, it is their responsibility. (No offense to the Hive developers)

Honestly, I have to agree with @RomaxGame5663. I don’t think the sounds would take forever to make, and it’s kind of strange how all your pets are silent.

IMO it’s a good idea, it just may get annoying

The translation makes it kinda confusing, but I think I get it.
I think an easier option is to either find the sounds online somewhere, or that the hive should just hire people.

How about bzzz 30 seconds later bzzz

I think this could work, but maybe it should be a proximity thing? Like you can’t hear the pets from far away, but if you’re close to them, you can hear the noises? I think it should also be a toggle, in case players don’t want to hear it. But I do like the idea, voted! :> Though there ARE a lot of pets, so it would take a while to record sounds for them.. of course, some pets could be given pre existing minecraft sounds, like the witch cat could have the cat mob sound effects. Though I don’t know what sound the anomaly pet would make…

What are we talking about guys? :sob:

No, it would not slow down updates, they would hire a third party service to make the sounds. They did that for block party.

Of course The Hive would have it togglable/slider, its The Hive. (Wouldn’t be loud anyways, just small noises to bring it to life)

Legit no downside besides Hive spending a few extra bucks to bring an even higher level of quality to their server
