Why Are Some (Seeming Normal) Classic/Slim Skins Banned?

What is the bug?
Not sure if this is the right category but- Why are some (seeming normal) Classic/Slim skins banned? I recently recovered my old Xbox account and it had a ton of Legacy Console Edition DLC that had been transferred over to Bedrock just to find out I couldn’t use any of my old skins on The Hive! At first I thought that maybe it was because a lot of my skins had extra parts (like for hats or ears) but even when I switched to a normal looking Classic/Slim skin that wouldn’t work either, I also noticed that the few skins that would work and have extra parts but the re-textures that used the same mesh wouldn’t

Device(s) & Version
Linux (via Unix launcher which is a compatibility layer for the Android version,) Android 15 (Via the official apk downloaded from the Playstore)

Screenshots, replay IDs, and/or videos:
My custom imported (via the in game import classic skin button) Slim skin working fine:

Marcline from Adventure Time Mash-up using the normal Slim model not working:

Another official Skin Pack skin using a standard mesh not working:

Skin using the same mesh as a skin that works but doesn’t work:

Hey there, thanks for submitting a bug report!

Unfortunately, in some cases, particularly with older, legacy skins from the Minecraft Marketplace, we do not possess the necessary data for them from Mojang. Without this data, the skins can’t be approved by our skin filters and they are therefore blocked.

We sadly have no control over this, but it may be that we get the data in the future.
