This is a suggestion to add a weekly item, the elytra. It would always spawn in a chest with fireworks, and yeah that’s basically it. Maybe you can only fly for like 30 seconds, then it breaks.

only 20 seconds, 1 firework, rare from ender chests and like 3% from diamond ore I think
elytra are way too op to have full durability and stuff lol

Nah, this would be insane. Players flying everywhere. If your elytra breaks, and someone else still has theirs, they would be like a phantom and keep hitting you over and over again coming from the sky until their elytra breaks. Also, you may land hard and just die. That would be annoying.
Why bump the post to disagree? And also maybe it could be one use instead.

It’s not cool to bring more attention to a post by just disagreeing with it. It’s not like this topic was on the top of the list. You went out of your way just to disagree with the idea.
im trying to say, this suggestion may become insane. it’s just not right for me. i can give feedback so the person who wrote the post can see my reply and maybe edit their post. also, many people disagree on posts anyways

This would be useful, me and my friend always try to get the last kill and he usually gets there first (to the other players base). So, if I had the elytra, I could just jump of a tower and fly there.
Yeah, or use it to chase down someone who will not fight you
