So, as of now, html source code is now blacklisted(and it seems this is true for the greater and less than symbols in general). My guess as to why is because of the ability to make invisible text with that.
My suggestion is to reenable the usage of it, at least for actual html. I can understand why you blocked the ability to put anything in invisible text(I do disagree, as it helped for forum games where 20 character replies aren’t needed, but I doubt I’ll change your minds on that), but it doesn’t make sense to block the ability to do actual html formatting with it(some examples in this thread).

Why is the Hive doing this?
For now, we have disabled the use of HTML formatting in posts.
We plan on re-enabling it in the future, once we have made relevant changes to our rules regarding the use of ‘invisible’ text and minimum character lengths.
