Now that Ultimate players can create custom hubs, what about replay servers? This allows friends to watch their games together, adding a new perk to Hive Ultimate.

As mentioned here, the Hive does not intend to allow players to use replay without a pass, so to join replay servers, players must either have Ultimate, or an active Replay Pass.

This feature could also be especially useful for content creation as well, allowing multiple creators to see the same server at the same time.

The server owner would get kinda similar toggles to in custom servers, having the ability to allow guests to control the server or not. Other useful settings include hiding fellow replay viewers.

It’s actually already possible to view a replay with other players, you simply need to join the Replay Cinema with a party. As you correctly mentioned, though, everyone in the party must have a Replay Pass to be able to join.

Is chat not working in replay an intentional feature or a bug?

I noticed that too. I was looking in a replay because I thought someone was hacking. I was trying to communicate to my friend, but chat would not work.
