Idea: Every month of this year (2023) should be counted towards the hat rewards until the end of December’s Leaderboard OR Hive changing the hats given out to all time treasure wars wins instead of just this year.
Explanation: I believe this should exist due to the fact that every months’ wins prior to the bedwars announcement is being counted toward the hat reward. This means that the players did not know of the reward before grinding. The post also created confusion to new grinders (such as I) that everyone “this year” will be receiving the hat as long as they get a certain amount of wins. Unlike the players before, the sole reason of some players grinding after September were for these cosmetics that were mentioned in the “Let’s Talk About Treasure Wars”. Although, it was stated that it refers to January 1st, 2023 to September 1st, 2023; it was stated that the wins this year will count towards the hat which lead many players to start playing again in hopes to receive the cosmetics.
I do believe that Hive worded the page poorly and lead to some miscommunications with the player base, but even so I still believe that the efforts of people playing for no reward currently shall be rewarded. As mentioned before, the players playing prior to the post about Bedwars were playing for nothing but numbers, and I understand that’s how you reward them (by giving them a cosmetic that they didn’t know that they’ll be receiving), but what about all of the other all time grinders? Before the Bedwars post, this was just another year of grinding with no rewards from the server. If you now plan on rewarding players for spending countless hours for pointless numbers with a new cosmetic that they didn’t know they’d be receiving; it’s unfair.
TLDR: Hive should reward every player this year that fits within the win criteria of January through December (or maybe even the final day if bedwars gets released) with the hat that they qualify for.
TLDR: If Hive doesn’t agree to my first suggestion, then maybe you should reward the players that qualify for the hat rewards all time, as they were also grinding for just numbers like the players from January - September 2023(Since the beginning of Treasure Wars to either the date of the bedwars post, or the final day of Treasure Wars.)

idk what im doing and i dont particularly play tw, but i think this is reasonable and it should definitely be looked into because tw is a popular game mode and since it’s being taken away(uhh…yeah), the players should get some kind of reward. (im a paid actor) merry christmas guys
Im gonna give my opinion on this, im speaking for myself and some others. First of all im a prestige 5 100 (max) i achieved it way back in the march 2022 since i was already max i didnt really need to grind for anything other than leaderboard or stats, but now the people that werent max before the announcement was made is grinding quickly to achieve the rewards because they now knows and they will obviously easily pass our wins in no time. we also didnt know (the max people) that there will be announcements like these but still grinded probably enough to reach top 1000 or maybe not but didnt grind now because we are max i hope this explains what im trying to say you can have ur opinions too! Also if hive choose top 100 or 1000 from the all time leaderboard im good with it since it will make the time we spent worth it. Reaching top 100 or 1000 is not a easy road at all. Please consider those and make the final decision, i would also like to say there should be a top 100 all time hat (A selfish opinion because it was really hard to reach it For all the top 100 players)
Counting those extra months would make a HUGE difference.
Why is that you may ask?;
The said forum post was announced on the 11th of September, 2023, so when players heard about it, they immediately started grinding for wins, some even reaching the All-Time Treasure Wars leaderboard by November!
But the thing is, when they go back and reread the forum post, they will realize all of that grinding was worth nothing.
“What’s the point of even playing, when your time spent grinding would amount to nothing?” they say. Giving players another chance to grind would make a huge impact on the player base, they would realize that they could most likely enter the top 1000 in a matter of 3 months.
How would this benefit The Hive Network?;
More players would come back to playing The Hive and would grind wins. And with personal experience, grinding isn’t easy, and would usually result in hours of playtime on the server.

More players coming back to grind would also mean more of their friends would come back to grind, and more of their friends!
Furthermore, people who would’ve not already maxed treasure wars would spend their money on boosters for example, or maybe if they want a change of scenery, they would buy a costume.
What I’m trying to say is that the original date set in the forum post announcing Bedwars is unreasonable and unfair to the majority of the player base. Adding a few months would cost the hive nothing, and would be a win-win situation for both the community, and for the Hive itself.
I agree, hive needs to think about this, I know a lot of people who put in hours of grinding to get levels, in which they get a reward in the terms of hub titles and xp booster, but they don’t get anything in return for the wins they got, the players before these people get rewards, but players trying to earn the hats have no way to do so, technically speaking, at the time of this post being made, the 2023 year has not been finished, it still has 1 whole month left, and yet hive made the cut off in September? This is unfair for players looking to receive the hats, they may actually put in more hours than players earlier and still won’t receive the hats.
Another thing I would like to add, is the fact that a lot of all time grinders from 2018+ will not receive anything due to them not playing in 2023 much, and all they will receive are a couple of items that the ordinary play could get, some of these players have 20k+ wins but won’t get a hat, Hive should change the top 1000 players for 2023, to top 1000 players all time, this would be better, since older grinders now will get something more for the hours they put in, or instead of changing it
Make a whole new hat, give the top 1000 players this year a hat, and the top 1000 player all time a hat.
Or again, instead of giving the top 1000 all time players a hat, give people who past 10k wins a hat, this way it’s a lot rarer and would make reaching 10k wins a great achievement

oh wow 5 new users welcome I think the only other time I saw 5+ new users in one post was when some guy told a bunch of friends to make accounts so real users are welcomed with open arms in my book ANYWAY yeah, this def needs to be changed. idk if hive can do it though, as theyve already stated what they plan to do
I believe they should consider stats from January 2023 to September 2023, or all time stats until September 2023, because if they consider stats from after the announcement, any LB grinder can get 1000s of wins in a couple of months, invalidating the efforts of players who played the game consistently before they knew Treasure Wars was going to be removed.
