I think it’s be cool if the hive had a hollowed treasure hive away for the holiday and like 100 player get picked. Requirements level 40 or higher, hive plus, be consistent user on the hive:

I’m not so sure about this suggestion.
100 players winning is more of a 1 hour boost type of thing, I would say it would be more appropriate if it was at most 50, and even then, 50 is a bit ambitious. Think about it, it would be quite unrealistic for the hive to just hand out $1000.
I would also think that there shouldn’t be any requirements. Giveaways are for the community, not just a way for the hive to get people to buy their products. A hive+ requirement for a giveaway is, no need to sugarcoat it, kinda stupid. On top of that, level 40 and up probably knocks out like half of all hive players. Also, there is no definite way to decipher whether or not you’re a consistent hive player.
The only other thing I have to say is that in the future, when you’re making a suggestion, maybe be a bit more specific and clear. It took me like 2 minutes to figure out what you were trying to say.
