Trading system

We all have wanted this, now this is finally going to come!

Ever had a cosmetic you don’t really use anymore and would like to give it to another friend? Well as of right now, you can’t you have to buy a whole new item to give to someone else and let’s be honest, since Christmas is coming, it would be a cool idea to add this in for the season of giving (this will not be a Winterfest exclusive)

I’ll give you guys an example. My friend has a broomstick mount and doesn’t use it anymore. I have a Pirate ship mount that I don’t use anymore. If my friend and I wanted, we could trade the mounts. You can only trade the same cosmetic type (eg. I can’t trade a mount for a costume, hat, pet, backblings) You will not be able to trade hub titles and avatar nor the costumes you achieved by leveling up.

BONUS IDEA:

Maybe you can lend some friend quest points so they can buy something but then they owe you some quest points too. You can not owe a person more than the amount they lend to you. (Ex. If I lend my friend 500 QP, I can’t charge him 500+ QP.

Each time you get quest points after you owe them something, instead of you getting the quest points, the person you owe quest points gets it.

You can do this by /trade [cosmetic] and you can choose weather you want to trade with a friend, or a username. It will send them a message or pop up a menu on their screen on if they want to accept the trade, or decline it. You will be able to see what items your trading.

You can turn trade requests off with /toggles

You can’t trade with exclusive unlocks

(Ex. Snappy mount from block Friday bundle, count ghosty costume from GI 2024.)

Thanks for Reading! Have a great day

Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to create a suggestion!

Trading is unfortunately not something that we’re looking to implement, as it would introduce several security issues, as well as many other issues that we’d rather not have to deal with (players being scammed, accidentally trading unlocks, accounts getting compromised and stolen, etc.)
