The Hive Battle Pass

Alright, so I know that this has been suggested before, but this is another version of it.

Many of you know the post about an overall Hive level, and with that I would like to propose something new: a battle pass!

The battle pass could be bought using minecoins, and will last for 3 months once bought. During then, when you gain experience in any minigame, it adds to your experience. Eventually, when you reach a new level, you would get a cosmetic, quest points and maybe an experience booster. The cosmetics would be based on the season (hence 3 months).

At max level, you would be given a costume that could only be obtainable by reaching the max level.

What do you guys think? Vote if you agree!

Last of all, I think the price should be about 1050 minecoins and it should be giftable.

Also i didnt bump the old post because it had a completely different idea from mine.

Cool idea, but 2k minecoins is too much imo. Maybe like 750($5)

the skins and everything in the pass would definitely be worth more than that. Maybe $7 dollars?

The point of a battle pass is for it to be an offer people can’t refuse, so they end up getting it, and playing on the server more. At least that’s the way I see it. :man_shrugging:

  2. Yeah ok so ik that the hive likes to be imaginative, but so to speak, battle passes are used in many other games and witht hat mindset, the hive basically copies everything, like tw being bedwars, or skywars being well, skywars, mm being the mm on hypixel, and so on.

I think you are forgetting that Galaxite copies Hive by a lot too. Even Clank said, on his twitter that it’s a one by one copy.

Not really true. They only took inspiration. Though, the Planets minigame were the only one that looked like they really took inspiration/slightly looked like a copy.

That was just him being toxic and talking nonsense. Ironic that he owns a server which he says people need to respect each other, as well as respect other servers, but he was being completly rude to a new featured server.

It would be kinda hypocritical for clankstar to bash galaxite for being a hive clone and then proceed to add a battle pass to the hive.

But putting all that drama aside battle passes seem to be a great way for games to earn money.

I agree with @Chipthesloth

Fortnite is bad and I don’t want a my main source of daily entertainment that me and my friends use as a way out of the real world problems and situation to have a battle pass for extra stuff

Battlepasses are really only for when the devs of something just want to milk the community as much as possible, it would be just plain annoying if the hive added one

I like the idea of a reward system but I don’t feel as if something like a Battle Pass would be best for the Hives progression going forward. Having a battle pass would put a lot of pressure on Fowben to make models for it and other unique cosmetics. Also I’d rather I didnt feel the motive to play the game just for cosmetics rather than for pure fun.
