Don’t you hate it when you fireball a player and it just doesn’t hit them and instead breaks a block that is somewhat close to them? Or when you try fireballing a bed defense and it hits a player instead?
well I have an idea- make fireballs break blocks AND damage the enemy, instead of just randomly choosing which thing to do.
and also make it to where fireballs don’t damage or knock-back the sender, because everyone hates it when they die to their own fireball.
Fireballs in Bedwars are crazy broken. I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, their potential to be abused and spammed is absolutely insane, and I don’t know what exactly the logic behind adding a feature like that was without a cool down or nerf or anything. One of the few traits that fireballs actually have that is some form of balance is that they damage and knockback the thrower. This makes spamming them harder (which isn’t to say it doesn’t happen/isn’t a problem), but removing this would make fireballs so much easier to use a crutch when already their power is highly questionable and honestly kinda insane.
Yes! The fireballs seems very inconsistent… Also not damaging the sender would be amazing, but I would still want the knockback to affect the sender, so you could clutch with fireballs, in case you have nothing else
I’ll tell you that it can get pretty bad and absurd.
Hive’s ender pearls don’t actually have a cooldown for some reason, but if they could apply the same cooldown to fireball, it would be a good way to nerf fireballs.
I don’t feel as though ender pearls need a nerf. They’re quite good at getting out of situations, and even if other people using them can be frustrating, the maps aren’t big enough to be a problem.
