Idea:
Add a system that notifies players when their reports against rule-breakers (cheaters, etc.) lead to a successful punishment
More information:
Currently, when we report someone, we don’t know if any action was taken. Adding a simple notification (like a chat message or a mail icon in the hub) would make the reporting process feel more impactful.
Ideally, the message should mention that action was taken, and perhaps specify the type of punishment (e.g., "The player you reported has been banned for cheating and got a 30-day ban.”). This would increase community trust and encourage more players to help keep the server clean
upd: yes, I think it’s not worth disclosing the full information, as it violates confidentiality on the server, but it would just be nice to see a message that the complaint has been approved or action has been taken on the complaint.
The suggestions in the comments are excellent and I think we can consider them as part of this proposal.

I agree with this but sadly they probably won’t do this they like to keep punishments private
Maybe if it said “One of your reports was successful, thank you for reporting!” Instead of "Your report on (Player Name) was successful, thank you for reporting! So it remains unknown who it was, especially if you report a lot.

Hello @DemanZeZ Welcome to the Forums! Thank you for taking this suggestion into account. I would greatly appreciate it if something were done regarding this suggestion about letting the player who receives the sanction know the truth, since currently I believe Hive only rewards you when you successfully report dangerous hackers, but not players with slight unfair advantages, bad behavior in chat, bullying or targeting people, and teaming up. I’m not sure how much it would benefit me to know if they were banned or who knows, since if it’s approved you always get a reward, although of course it’s preferably a sweet one that you can only find out in the Hub thanks to Hive Bot, which can help you know with a message if they were banned correctly with a message that says: “A player you reported was correctly sanctioned” or “Correctly muted.” But as you clarify, it might be better to only know the measures taken against a player than to receive the whole NameTag and suspension time to better protect the privacy of the punishment. Although it would be preferable if you could know the reason for the sanction without mentioning their name, and that would help a lot to be more secure and reliable so that the community continues reporting, so it’s a great idea!

Welcome to the forums @DemanZeZ I hope enjoy your stay! I believe it should tell you but stay anonymous for example.
Thank you (your name) with one of your reports! It helped ban them from playing on our server!
Possibly, it could say the width of the ban but I’m not sure, and as @ELChrisGamer572 said they do send you some QP and a note if it is a worse hacker then someone teaming

@SurfsideCow7033 I agree, bro Thanks for helping with the suggestion. Of course, in matches I’m commonly targeted, especially in Bedwars, Survival Games, and Skywars, which are the modes I’m most active in. They can always see my nametag, level, and skin, so they harass me. Even when I’m in a party, it’s annoying for everyone. But it’s sweet when we get our revenge by eliminating them from the match, and we can report them. I’ve reported many toxic players in the game via chat and also, for further evidence, on The Hive Discord server. But I still don’t know if they get banned, which is unfair. So I hope this idea becomes a reality to improve the reporting and moderation experience on the server; it would be the best. And lastly, I’ve reported up to four teammates in Survival Games by myself, which is super unfair since in a previous match I eliminated the remaining survivors with great speed, and in the next match, I eliminated two players. They kept at me until they managed to eliminate me, and at the end of the round, the two remaining players had to fight. So I reported all four of them, and that’s super unfair, lol. Teamers who PvP other players should also face some kind of penalty. Sorry if I write too much; I just like to be very clear with my suggestions, and I would appreciate it if everyone reads this completely. Thanks

Welcome to the forums! I’ve reported a lot of players for targeting, teaming prolonging the game etc , and it would be REALLY helpful,
But one suggestion, I feel like the player who reported correctly should get Quest points or even a cosmetic for reporting correctly a hacker or a person with slight and subtle advantages.
Cosmetic= reporting a hacker correctly.
QP= Reporting a cheater ( teaming etc)
Like, “Thank you, player for your report, it helped ban them of the server! You have been rewarded with the giraffe costume!”. This would further incentivise player reports and result in positive reactions from the community.
maybe it’s a good idea, but if it’s going to be given for a report by people who purposefully unite or people who use an autoclicker, then cosmetics/qp they will be discounted because there are many such people on the server
upd:although 10-20 QP for using an autoclicker or teamer It sounds quite reasonable.
there seems to be a reward for large hackers, they wrote in the comments to this tweet.
This feature is already available on hive
You’ll receive a mail looking item in ur hotbar and when u click on it
It’ll open a text message replying to your report and thanking
But it only happens if ur report actually got accepted
@Splodg3r Is this already a feature?
This is technically already a feature, but it doesn’t show up for every report you make.

We already have a similar feature on build battke where you can get a mail on thr hive mailbox where you can get up to 400qp if you report a good amount of people,
Havibg similar feature outside build battle would be not bad
