It would be cool if players could submit their own build to go into the speed build ltm and won’t affect the game much.
It would also make the more enjoyable because people would only submit builds if they think that it would make for a good build in the game.
This would be problematic with non-pg builds.
Well obviously this wouldnt be allowed so how about just words and then nrw themes every so often like on jd+ which os every other week
How is this problematic? Someone submits an inappropriate build, they just told Hive they make that stuff, so Hive can just, permanently IP ban them from build battle.
It wouldn’t stop it from getting out there, plus people would make over complex and bad builds. There no way to regulate it. More content doesn’t mean good content.

That would be better, but with how many people play hive it would still allow for a massive amount of terrible builds.
Most people that play hive are kids, they should not be designing builds that other players need to make.

That’s not the reason I suggested that, it’s because if you have Hive U, and you submit an inappropriate build, then you risk that 20 dollars.

The issue with having every one of these go through a moderation is that is causes a lot of time from the staff. At that point it might take less time to just build them themselves.
Hive would hire a team for this. It would also justify having a hive U rank to suggest builds.
For a refresher, Hive U is a rank that costs 20 dollars, 10 if you have hive +, that gives several perks that are either straight upgrades from plus, or others, like lifetime replay cinema. I’m asking how many people have that rank, and im assuming the percentage is no more than 20%
I think the main problem is that people cannot access the custom blocks outside of the server (some of them aren’t even accisable build battle). A good chunk of the builds in the game have them and it helps make them stand out. There can be a custom server gamemode that can allow custom builds to be used. The builds are submitted with a video contest.
Maybe it should cost some minecoins? That way they dont want to waste money and send some random thing
