Affected Language:
Portuguese (Brazil)
Affected Service (Game name, hub, or menu):
Spawn area / gamemode NPC header text
Affected Text:
Dê um soco em um jogo para jogar!
Suggested Text:
Dê um soco no jogo para começar!
Explanation of Issue:
The current text is a direct word-for-word translation from English rather than something written naturally in Brazilian Portuguese.
In Portuguese UI, especially for gameplay prompts, we don’t usually keep full sentence structures that translate literally from English when they end up sounding repetitive or slightly unnatural. The phrase here ends up feeling a bit awkward because of the repetition of “jogo/jogar,” which is not how this type of instruction is normally phrased in games.
Because of that, “Dê um soco em um jogo para jogar!” reads as somewhat literal and not fully localized, as if it was translated rather than adapted for natural in-game wording.
“Dê um soco no jogo para começar!” sounds more natural and flows better. It keeps the playful intent but fits more comfortably with how Brazilian Portuguese game UI instructions are usually written.
