ranked gamemodes haven’t worked very well on hive in the past, the main issue is that the queue times get very long

Bridge elo sucked
The only game that has enough players for elo is Bedwars
unfortunately this is true, the hive doesnt really care about other gamemodes(besides bw)so i cant see this happening

They could base it under the same aspect as leaderboard, rather than the traditional ranked method, allow normal queuing, so match anyone, but if you want it to be a ranked match and track progress for the ranked aspect, you activate it before the match, like something in your hotbar, this would track if you re queue a lobby(acts as loss), win or lose and your k/d, this could all add to your elo, cheating would be a problem, so maybe make it so you must reach level 50 in said gamemode to activate ranked, could add ranked suspensions for people bending/breaking rules aka teaming, and make it so if your playing as ranked, you cant match below level 20players or something to protect both low levels but also the ranked players from cheaters, and just moderate ranked matches a bit more, reports taken more serious or given more prio than regular ones
This is actually a good idea because I think featured servers seem to be scared of pushing more competitive game modes even though having them along side the normal ones would only be a benefit, currently you’re limited to scrims which are just private matches created by players and is full of closet cheaters anyway

Hol up, thats a bit too negative @Floydrat . This is not a bad idea but it would cause quene to take forever. I get where you are coming from, yes queueing up sky is super frustrating when you get a team of sweats but It would not work. Solos has less sweats, so maybe try that if you already haven’t.

What if there is a seperate ranked queue and each level is only available if there is enough players to make sure all queues still have enough players to not take a while. Although that leaves the problem of people who live in time zones where most of the rest of the Region is not active so they would most likely have to go to another server or use the new region merging thingy the hive is implementing (i think) which could result in high ping which is bad.
so add ranked bw
I disagree with adding ranked of any kind. Queue times would be absolutely terrible.

Brother… WE HAVE LEADERBOARDS ON THE HIVE!!! And also why??? We have rankings allready on leaderboads and why battle pass?
Technically all games are ranked cuz they all have a leaderboard already and WHO NEEDS A BATTLE PASS???
