i just played skywars and the amount of closet cheaters and sweats ruining your experience is insane. and the fact the gamemode has 5 prestiges. some skywars players genuinely feel like they have unfair reach and are closet cheating and this is coming from someone who plays on pc. this is why i avoid both skywars and ctf. the amount of closet cheating people ruins the experience for me making it impossible to even reach prestige 1 let alone prestige 5. i dont like queueing against prestige players who use subtle cheats.
This genuinely has made skywars awful and unplayable for most casual players as you get those types of people who instantly rush you then toggle reach
im not even a bad player its when there is multiple sweats/edaters you hit one everyone comes after you and its not fair.

it was queue you against players who dont snowball spam or use subtle reach
they need to make closet cheating detectable
i also dealt with some awful stuff on there too. like you hit one player once then suddenly 6 or more come after you
You vastly oversimplified the issue and underestimate the complexity of the situation and the difficulty in resolving it. The Hive is constantly working on their anti cheat with the end goal of fully eliminating cheaters, however, we’re not there yet, and there’s nothing Hive can do that they aren’t already endeavouring to do. They don’t want cheaters; if they could, they would have long since made their existence obsolete. The same is true of the teamers. They aren‘t good for the server’s popularity. Just report them when you encounter them and move on.
The steps I would recommend for you personally to avoid cheaters are to use a client like Flarial and to queue dodge players that have high statistics that are unlikely to be legitimate , like fifteen or higher KD ratio.

i do use flarial its a sick client and i have to agree there. but yeah i barely bother playing skywars because of these cheaters. thats why i prefer modes like murder mystery or non pvp modes (except build battle because of meh spammers)
i also have to mention i was a victim of doxing on the hive too.
im a neurodivergent player who doesn’t really fully know how to queue dodge specific players.
these types of people are why i deliberately deny them kills by jumping off.
like if you call out these closet cheaters they either laugh at you or retaliate by threatening to dox you or they group up on you.
There’s no reason to call them out. Just report them and move on with your day. Also there’s no way this is a frequent issue that you run into, because I’m level sixty-eight and never have run into the issues you’ve described. I’ve experienced cheaters, naturally, but never the other things you’ve explained, and when I do run into standard cheaters, it’s a very uncommon occurrence.

i run into closet cheaters the ones who are high levels and act legit but they get suspicious hits from over 5 blocks away. these people are often on leaderboards too
reporting sadly doesn’t really do much and isnt very effective

Are you certain that they are actually cheating, and you’re not just throwing accusations because you lost a 1v1? My apologies, but you can’t know for sure that those individuals are cheating, even though you claim they are with a very high degree of confidence. I personally get hackusated a lot, and the players that do are so incredibly certain that I autoclick. And I’m sceptical that so many high level players are going to risk the permanent or long-term loss of their account as you have said.
Even if they are, as I have already said, there isn’t anything Hive can do about it. So this suggestions can’t really go any further.

yes im certain because it wasn’t a fair 1v1 at all it was multiple players sometimes up to 6 targeting me specifically
i was just giving feedback of my mostly negative experiences in skywars and the hive in general
on march 2024 i was a victim of severe doxing harassment and sustained targeting across multiple games.

multiple of these people have unfair advantages with block placement spam snowball spam and the whole lot.
