People would be more pushed to race for the mid chests to get armor without having to mine for 5 minutes, especially because they can’t increase their health that much without good armor.
It kind of sounds like you just want redstone removed. People already rush middle in skywars for good loot
I don’t want it removed but that would be a significant change.

I don’t, this is just the suggestion, without the ability to get anything better than a helmet (because you can craft that with 5 dias) by mining 5 ores, people are obviously going to go middle, no one is gonna sit there mining 26 diamonds to get good defence, so people will go middle more.
Sounds like 1 person would get full diamond, and the rest would be left as 1 or 2 pieces. Potentially unbalanced. Right now in lucky ores, people can get good stuff on their island, and neighboring islands, it just takes more luck. This means less aggressive players have a chance.
