So normally when something gets flagged for something else (moderator attention) and when it gets approved by a moderator, you get a PM with Hivebot. It will say “your post got flagged for moderator attention”. But this doesn’t tell why a post was flagged. Let’s just say that someone flagged something with a “bomb emoji lol”, that’s only that the DM will say. “Your post got flagged for moderator attention”. I am suggesting to either show whatever message the person who flagged the post/topic in the DM or a moderator can give a note on what was the problem with a post/topic.

Once the post gets removed the mod usually says what for
Look at this example:
They don’t say what it’s for.

Under the archived post it usually says it

This may not be something within the Hive’s ability to add.

Technically anything’s possible, this seems sort of unnecessary though…

it is, some Forumers can have false bans. Or post removed (which affects on his regular rank) if he is grinding for it.

This will also be handy when bombs get flagged

The bombs prolly get flagged for inappropriate
Honestly don’t post the bombs
It’s immature and if I was a new member and saw that I would be kinda upset about it, it’s not some funny joke if outsiders don’t understand

This is something that Discourse should’ve allowed any forum owners and mods to do, and it should’ve also been a default thing. (From what I know, that doesn’t exist yet. No threads about it on the Discourse Meta as well.)

Sorry for the bump but people are getting flagged for weird reasons lately. If this was added, there would be less confusion and the forums would be a better place.

This just happened to me as well lol
Hey there
This is a feature of Discourse, we sadly have no control over it.
Posts that are flagged unnecessarily are always restored.
