This is quite useful, as you don’t have to go looking for new ones all the time, it tells you automatically when there are new ones.
So… this is my suggestion: They should do this for EVERYTHING in your inventory.
With the compass, there can be an ‘!’ everytime a new game comes out, which would help newer people find out when new games drop, if they didn’t have Discord or the Forums.
With the friend list, there would be a ‘!’ everytime someone adds you (this could be a problem for big YTers who get tons of invites though).
With the Party book, it would appear with the ‘!’ whenever someone has invited you.
And lastly, with the Global Unlocks, it would show an ‘!’ whenever you unlocked a new costume, hub title etc.
I feel like this would be a great system to have, but I don’t fully know if it is easy to make it so things like friend requests create the “!”. Because everyone on the Hive has the “!” on the egg right now, but with things that are only for one player it would have to be constantly switching for multiple people. The new game one would be really nice though, and it would be the same for everyone. I still think this is a great suggestion, and it could also be simple to do, and I just don’t know.
Now I actually think this would work, but I do like the idea that with things like friends it’s more of notification.
