Currently, if a player is wanting to buy the Global 1 hour XP Booster for the first time using quest points they will have no idea how much extra XP the XP Booster is actually giving you before you buy it, because it doesn’t actually say how much extra XP you’re getting in the in-game description of the XP booster and only says how much in the Hive store.
This is causing players to think the XP Booster will give them double XP or a 100% XP boost for example when it actually only gives players a 50% or a 1.5x XP boost.
An easy fix for this is simply stating that the XP Booster will give you a 50% XP boost in the in-game description of the XP booster when you go to buy it.

When this gets added, I don’t think anyone will waste good 200 quest points for a rip off like that.

That’s why it should say how much extra XP the booster gives you when you go to buy it to avoid confusion and assumptions about how much extra XP it’s giving you.
It could also maybe explain how it stacks with the 50% XP boost you get from hive+ and the 10% XP boost you get for having a 10 day or more login streak giving you a 110% XP boost or a bit more then double XP all together with the booster, because a lot of people get confused and add it up incorrectly while at the same time thinking the booster alone gives you double XP which is incorrect. c:

They should also show this ingame. Like in TW when you kill someone, the prefix of [5 XP] should be updated to the XP added as well. That would mean [5 + 2.5 XP] if this is how boosters work

Yeah maybe, personally I think it’s simpler to keep it the way it is where it just shows you the unmodified XP you get from kills and stuff, but still think they could briefly and simply explain how much of a XP boost your getting from the XP booster when you go to buy it with quest points and maybe briefly explain how it stacks with the hive+ XP boost and the login streak XP boost. c:

How many votes does a suggestion have to have to be considered?
There’s no threshold, if the Hive Team believes a suggestion should be added then they’ll make that decision

When you have an XP booster, doesn’t it show how much percent it is when you join a game-lobby? It shows it for me.

Yeah I actually remember it showing how much percent your XP was boosted all together when you bought an XP booster, but I just bought one and played a few games a couple hours ago and it didn’t show for me for some reason. :c
I still think it would be nice for them to explain how the XP booster would stack with your hive+ XP boost and your login streak XP boost though before you actually buy the 1 hour XP boost, as well as tell you how much the 1 hour XP boost would boost your XP by itself before you buy it using quest points because a lot of people think it boosts your XP by 100% when it only boosts your XP by 50%. It’s like buying a bag of chips and finding out half of the bag is full of air once you open it :c

Yeah, but that doesn’t make boosters useless, all xp boosts stack
You have to activate it with /booster first
