Role variants/Murder Mystery Kits

Sometimes, I think murderer, innocent, and sheriff can be a little under whelming.

So, why not add classes to the game? Each has their upsides and downsides. Two murderer classes I can see are the kidnapper, and the assassin. The kidnapper is a variant of the murderer that doesn’t kill, cuz he wants MONEH. He gets three tools, instead of two. Bat, Sleep [throwable], and a rope tie. The bat and sleep dart paralyze their targets, the bat works like a sword, and the sleep dart like a zapper (in exchange for non-lethality) The rope tie puts paralyzed players in a sitting position that is impossible to escape from without assistance along with a rope around themself. Kidnappers win by having everyone tied up at once. You get bonus xp for winning as the Kidnapper. The assassin is a variant of the murderer that sacrifices its throwable for the ability to cloak at will. Assassins can go invisible for 10 seconds with a cooldown of 30 seconds. Two sheriff variants I have in mind are the True Sheriff, and the Sniper. The True Sheriff gets a Lightning rod (stun gun), a murderers throwable. (taser) and the same rope tie as Kidnapper. The Lightning rod can charge up for two seconds while holding it, before it can stun whoever you click on. (Charging won’t slow you down) The throwable converts to a yellow tipped arrow if its anything sharp, because it stuns, without killing. It also moves at the same speed as a throwable (to mimic a taser) True sheriff can use their rope tie to neutralize the murderer, and win by arrest. If you guys are considering making the double trouble gamemode or zapper frenzy gamemode into that future microhub ltm, then true sheriffs arrow acts like a zapper as long as there is multiple murderers in the round. The sniper is a normal sheriff but with a crossbow with a spy glass attached to it, along with double zapper cool down to balance the scope. Innocent classes are the Scout and the Stunner. The scout gets a spy glass from the beginning of the game, and gets a paper with every five coins. Scouts can use the paper to mark somebody by putting a color coded triangle on their head. The mark isn’t visible through walls, and is only visible to the scout and anyone they click on with their paper. All this comes with the cost of not being able to have a zapper. The Stunner is just a normal innocent except their zapper can only stun the murderer and it recharges like a sheriff. If this is too complex for normal murder mystery, seeing it as a separate game mode would be nice.

I see people asking for traps as the murderer. I’m thinking of a miner role that sacrifices its throwable for the ability to place down a mine that automatically digs up a coin every five seconds and can make a random interactable every ten seconds, while also being able to make a bear trap as an interactable.

But this would make MM more complicated and would destroy the simple game. I love MM right now because you can just turn off your brain and relax.

In my opinion, Murder Mystery is insanely boring and monotonous. You’re an innocent nintey-nine percent of the time, and all innocents do is run around until they get killed. It needs something to make it more fun. I don’t know how anyone can stand prestige ing that game.

Not every game needs to be full of content. In MM if your an innocent the game can still be fun. Get coins fast a shoot the murd.

maybe they can include this in a separate gamemode for mm. people have been asking for a double trouble like mode, and i think that’s more than enough for mm.
