Revival beacon

Hello hive, I have found it annoying for my teammate to 1v4 against people making a huge defense and I was wondering if you could add a revival beacon for 35 emeralds, it would be much appreciated

The revival beacon will revive your entire team in squads and duos

Please explain how this would be used in a more in-depth explanation. I don’t really understand what you are saying.

Yeah but what if your teammates leave because most do when they get obliterated by my bedwars squad :smirk:

…

What level are you @Chewy174266 ?

What is the levels of the people in your squad normally

I’m level 32 now(recently reached it like 10 minutes ago yay) and I play sometimes with my hive friends. I mainly just grind solos tho.

Wait, but why would you play squads not in a party of 3 or 4 that’s just a nightmare

So, the revival beacon is a beacon, duh, the revival beacon acts like another live after you lose your bed because losing your bed sucks, and I die ALOT so if my teamate revives me I’m good, but when you die again it’s game over, basically you can only buy the beacon once

2 are level 50 and me and another are almost 50 but I would be max if I didn’t go on holiday

I feel like this is not needed, as the game ends for you when you die, so you req the game. How do you revive someone if they’ve left, and there is no indication that they have.

Welcome to the forums!

Almost everybody requeues when they get final killed. They (and I) would definitely requeue in the sample scenario. And chances are, that team of 4 would have revival beacons of their own, so that just makes them more annoying and adds an unnecessary level of complexity to a game Hive is trying to make beginner-friendly. So let’s keep the “Final kill” a final kill and not a “Probably a final kill but maybe not”.

Happy hiving!

Hello BearBlade, good day and welcome to the hive. A characteristic of most The Hive games is to keep the games short, that is, of short duration of time. Yes, there are exceptions like CTF or Just Build rounds, but adding a feature like that would prolong the game excessively.

I’ll give you an example, suppose you pay the 35 emeralds and revive your team and they manage to almost completely annihilate the other team, what will the other team do? You will pay 35 emeralds to revive your team. Even setting limits, I think it would be exhausting and frustrating for some players to prolong the game when you had almost won it.

I don’t want to discourage you or make you feel bad, it’s just my point of view. And an apology for my long explanation; thanks for reading.

What if 50% of your teamates (that spawned with you) had to be alive. So if you started with 3 or 4 people, you would need 2 people, and if you have 1 or 2 people you need 1 alive. Also, it should be a one time use.

Second concept:
What if it fixed your bed once which means it can be rebroken BUT there would be debris and if you didn’t repair it in 5 mins the debris would vanish and you wouldn’t be able to repair the bed. For every time you use it, it would add 32 emeralds to prevent infinite instant use (32, 64, 96, 128, so on)

NO NO NO, They died. They should Not reaspawn.

I agree with others this shouldn’t be a feature added. Bedwars games already last too long.
