What is the bug?
When you die, you respawn with 16 blocks instead of 32 blocks. Not only this, even if you had 32 blocks in your inventory when you first spawn in, it is reverted to 16 blocks.
This originally wasn’t the case a couple of days ago. There was also no update announcement about this neither is this a good game decision.

We were as stumped as you about this, as no recent changes had been made to Ground Wars!
Upon closer investigation, it looks like some recent changes to our server software fixed a bug where 32 blocks were given instead of 16.
The number of blocks given to you when you respawn was originally meant to be 16, but because of a bug (that was coincidentally fixed by some recent server software changes), you were given 32.
Since getting 32 has always been the norm (whether intended or not), we’ll look into making it so that you get 32 blocks once again.
I can’t promise this will be any time soon, but we’ll hopefully get around to it when we have some spare time.
